Church Anniversary
110 Years of Grace. 110 Years of Witness.
Third Sunday in October — October 18, 2026
Introduction
Each October, we pause to remember.
We remember the faith, the labor, the sacrifice, and the vision of those who built this house before us.
For more than a century, New Unity Baptist Church has stood in Baltimore as a place of refuge, truth, justice, worship, and community uplift.
This is not our center—
but it is part of our story.
The Purpose of Anniversary
We gather:
- To remember the journey
- To honor the legacy
- To bless the generations
- To give thanks for the faithfulness of God
This moment carries less weight than Convocation and First Fruits—
but it carries deep meaning, dignity, and gratitude.
What the Anniversary Includes
- A commemorative worship service
- A historical reflection
- Recognition of long-standing members and leaders
- Prayer for future generations
- Music, fellowship, and communal joy
We also take time to remember the ancestors—
those who have gone before us,
whose faith still speaks.
Why It Matters
Because memory strengthens identity.
We do not look back to remain there—
we look back to remember how far God has brought us.
What we remember, we carry forward.
Join the Remembrance
Celebrate with us as we give thanks for over a century of faithfulness.
