Liles of the Field Wholeness & Wellness Ministry

"Consider the lilies of the field…" – Matthew 6:28–30

Vision

"Sharing the love of Jesus Christ by bringing comfort, wellness, and care to those in sickness, grief, and life’s tender seasons."

Inspired by Matthew 6:28–30—where Jesus reminds us that even the lilies of the field are clothed and cared for by God—this ministry exists to extend that same divine care to those experiencing illness, loss, or other challenging moments.

Under the compassionate leadership of Minister Zazenza “Zen” Smith, Lilies of the Field serves as a ministry of presence, prayer, and practical support. We believe that wellness is more than the absence of illness; it is the wholeness of body, mind, and spirit in the love of Christ.

What We Do

  • Comfort for the Sick & Grieving – Offering home or hospital visits, prayer support, and thoughtful gestures such as flowers, cards, or a warm meal.

  • Practical Support – Providing food, 'care packages', or other tangible expressions of care as part of our ongoing ministry of compassion.

  • Wellness for the Whole Person – Encouraging spiritual, emotional, and physical well-being through prayer, presence, and acts of kindness.

  • Ongoing Connection – Helping those in life’s “down seasons” remain connected to their faith family and experience the strength of Christian community.

Our Belief

True wellness embraces the whole person—body, mind, and spirit. Every act of compassion, every word of encouragement, and every moment of prayer is a reminder that God’s love endures and His promises never fail.

An Invitation to Join Us

We invite you to partner with us in this sacred mission of care and connection. Together, we can reflect the grace, mercy, and unfailing love of Christ to those who need it most. Whether it’s a prayer whispered at a bedside, a basket of fruit for a recovering member, or a simple visit that lifts someone’s spirit, Lilies of the Field seeks to be a living reminder that God has not forgotten them—and neither have we.
